Fashion for a Fall Date Night

Fall is one of my favorite seasons for many reasons, but one of the biggest reasons is the FASHION. Now that summer is over, we can start pairing outfits with tights, hats, scarves, and sweaters - and really, what is cuter than that? We can start ditching those short-sleeves and shorts and move on to longer items, and I absolutely love that addition in clothing versatility! I strongly believe in dressing in the colors that are associated with the season to truly add authenticity and excitement to the transition. This is exactly what I did last Friday when I went on a dinner date with my boyfriend.

My ideal dinner date outfit is something that screams romance in a sweet sense. I typically go for something more girly and flirtatious. In this case I went for a dress. Yet, I still wanted to punctuate the start to the season by ensuring that the outfit was indeed fit for a fall evening.Layering and color choice is a super easy way to do this!

I wore a long seasonally-orange dress that features a cute corset in the front that ties at the bodice, long puffy sleeves with embroidered flowers and leaves, and a staggered layered skirt. All of which work together to create a dreamy, fall look.

Accessories are everything to an outfit and can definitely not stand to be overlooked. I paired my dress with black booties and a white purse to compliment the orange dress, yet still portray the autumn and flirty vibe I was going for. I wore my typical gold jewelry, and I wore a hair bandana that showcased a fall floral motif with lots of browns, oranges, and reds.

The culmination of the warm autumn colors, long sleeves and layers, and cute accessories made for a perfect fall outfit!
